  • Bridesmaid Dresses

    Helloooo

Have finalized my wedding colours and decided to go for:

    Shell Pink/Apricot Pink/Peach Pink.....Gold........Dash of Yellow..........and ofcourse, Ivory white

I chose them because choosing one colour is too dull, and these colours match our Asian skin very well, not to mention the faux innocence these colours radiate over the ceremony!
The option of other colours besides pink would greatly benefit the male party ofcourse. :)

That would mean a combination of these colours for bridesmaid dresses. I'm thinking the pink with a gold sash around the waist.

My Maid of Honor, the venerable Miss Christine Leong will need to differentiate her appearance somewhat from the others and I suggest a nice fascinator on your hair (I like the ones with a little bit of net over one eye) and the other girls will have an elegant flower pinned to their hair.

Would you girls like to have your hair up or down? I'm trying to leave my hair long now so that I can have it up during the day ceremony, and would like it if you girls did the same as well because I'm particularly inclined towards the clean-cut look. I'm still open to suggestions tho... not! Just kidding. Hehe.

Anyway, I'll put up pictures of bridesmaid dresses I have found on the internet. I just need your votes for which dress you prefer. But girls, you make not get exactly what you like, but at least I have an idea of what you prefer yah?

    My preference in descending order:

Remember these are style photos yah? Not colour, altho I tried my best to find the colours. I really like the first one lor...

    Let me know :)

HURROO! Me am here to comment on your pretty internets blog!

How about if us bridesmaids have our hair down while you have your hair up? You'll stand out more that way, but I'm okeh either way though.

I love your dress choices - the pleated skirt on picture no.6 is so adorable, but the top is a bit boxy.. aiyah! I'll vouch for pictures no. 3, 5 and 10 (mum likes 10 too). No. 1 is lovely but I shall have to veto it for purely superficial reasons as I suffer from a horrid affliction which causes balloon skirts to make my legs look like tree trunks.

    Post more! Post mooore!

Hmm.. I quite like no. 3 to be honest, but I would replace the sash with a wider one and a different colour! I don't mind the pleated skirt too...

But no.10 is a balloon skirt too! But u like the length? That's tea length tho...and feel free to send me any photos of bridesmaid dresses u come across too k? :)

Wait, what? Oh oh, I meant no. 10 as in the 10th picture downwards.. not the 10th dress, sorry! The one with the cute short-haired blonde. Same goes for the 3rd and 5th too. Yesh, the 4th pic will def look cuter with a wider sash! The last dress's length is just right. Knee-length good. No make calves look fat.

Will scout around for pics! When you decide on a dress style, do you look for its closest resemblance in bridal shops?

Actually, all these dresses I found online. A lot of my friends suggest buying them online because it's cheaper! Recently, one of them bought her wedding dress from one of these sites as well. But if I see any that closely resembles these dresses, I won't hesitate. Maybe you can keep a lookout when u go shopping next time...and we can always add the sash, no problems!
